Last year I was commissioned to work on a very exhilarating and challenging design endeavor, culminating into Morgan’s On Main in Woodland, California. This past September Morgan’s On Main or MOM as we like to call it opened a steak house restaurant, cozy lounge and banquet space. All along there were plans for a dedicated bar area just as big as the restaurant space. This past week, we demolished what was once a hair salon and started construction on The Bar.
This project was a labor of love for me, as most of my projects are, and multi-level in the exercise of my creative muscles. First was the interior design of the space itself, then the identity design - logo, business cards, stationary, exterior/interior signage, etc. - then came the imagery that graces the brick walls of all three spaces and soon The Bar.
Taking on something like this you have to see and understand the “big picture” and how it all works together creating a brand. All along making sure each piece of the puzzle fits and plays nicely with one another. So your end result is cohesive and authentic in communicating your brand.
